Perceptual fields

A series exploring the possibility of extracting perception from immediate experience and giving it an autonomous material form. Each work becomes an extract of a distinct perceptual state, existing independently of the moment in which it emerged.

The series laid the foundation for my method of extraction—an investigation into the processes through which perception is translated into material objects and made available for observation.
